I've been completely captivated by working on this metal sculpture prototype. The way the light plays through the laser-cut lines, creating shadows and changing the perception of the piece itself—it's mesmerizing! My drawings are usually quite dense, but removing the background to leave just the network of lines creates something entirely new. It's incredible to see how the flat drawing transforms into this three-dimensional object with its own unique presence. The interplay of light and shadow is unexpected, adding another layer of depth and complexity I hadn't anticipated. I can't wait to see the final piece.
