I'm still working through the challenges of this complex sculpture, but I've finished the drawings! I've found a technician in Bangkok who's coming to help me create a CAD file. Once that's done, I'll take it to Shepparton, Australia, to have the sculptures made. I've already had a couple of small samples made there to test things out – to see how the pieces interact, and to work out the engineering challenges of the joints, how strong the materials need to be, and so on. These small ones are just experimental, but really helpful for planning the larger pieces.
