Wow, what a year! After the huge effort of realizing my 3D sculpture ideas for the Gallery H exhibition, and then squeezing in trips overseas
I've been exploring variations on a theme in these works on paper. The lines, the interplay of color and form...it's all about subtle shifts and variations.
Finding just the right shade of red can be a journey in itself! These smaller studies were all part of the process of arriving at the perfect tone for my current work.
August yielded two new pieces: a study and a painting. Perinone, measuring 176 x 67cm, is the final result
